Leather Ankle Suspension Cuffs
Our ankle suspension cuffs are made from full grain cowhide, cut and stitched by hand to order. They are built to hold weight at the ankle without digging in.
Each cuff closes with a solid metal buckle and carries a solid metal D-ring, fixed in place with rivets. You can use them for tie-down play or for supervised suspension.
Why These Leather Ankle Cuffs Feel Different
Most ankle cuffs are made for light restraint. These are made for load.
The outer layer is 4mm thick leather that keeps its shape under tension. The inner layer is 13mm foam wrapped in soft leather, so pressure spreads across the ankle instead of one narrow line.
Every piece is cut by hand and every seam is double stitched. Stress points are held with metal rivets.
Features of Our Suspension Cuffs
Full grain cowhide: strong outer leather that keeps its shape under load
Double stitched seams: hand-cut panels joined with two rows of stitching
Solid metal hardware: buckles, rivets and D-rings
Five sizes: S, M, L, XL and XXL
Handmade to order: custom orders welcome
How to Use Ankle Restraints Safely
Fit each cuff above the ankle bone, where the leg is narrowest. You should be able to slide two fingers under the strap.
For suspension, clip the D-rings to a rated point with a screw-lock carabiner. Never use a hook or ring with an unknown load rating.
Check feet and toes every few minutes. Cold skin, tingling or colour change means it is time to release.
Keep safety shears within reach for every session.
Sizing Guide
Wrap a soft tape measure around the ankle just above the bone. Note the number in centimetres.
Match the number to our sizes: S, M, L, XL or XXL If you fall outside the chart, use the Custom Order button.
Caring for Leather Suspension Cuffs
Wipe the leather with a damp cloth after use. Let it dry at room temperature, away from radiators.
Apply a leather conditioner twice a year. This keeps the leather soft and stops cracking.
Store the cuffs flat in a dry place. Do not leave them in a sealed plastic bag.
