Real Leather Biker Trousers in Quilted Cowhide

Our real leather biker trousers are cut from full-grain cowhide and sewn by hand, one pair at a time. Notice the knees first. That diamond quilting runs down the thighs and across the front, and it's the feature that catches everybody's eye. The leg is cut narrow, so it disappears neatly into a tall boot. The current price is £122, reduced from £146. UK delivery costs you nothing.

Why Our Leather Biker Trousers Last Longer

Lots of inexpensive leather trousers available online use bonded leather. Think of it as leather dust mixed with glue, pressed flat and painted over. It looks fine in photos. Give it a year of regular use, though, and the surface starts to flake. We won't sell that. These are full-grain, so the outer layer of the hide stays intact. That surface is naturally the strongest part.

New leather is stiff. Yours will be too, probably for the first five or six wears. Then it loosens up and follows the shape of your legs. That's half the fun of owning genuine leather.

We stitch the main seams twice. If one line of thread ever gives, the second one holds. Buckles, rivets and D-rings are all metal, with no plastic anywhere.

What You Get

  • Quilted diamond panels on the front, thighs and knees

  • Zip front with metal fittings

  • Belt loops that take a wide leather belt

  • Narrow, tapered leg for engineer or riding boots

Where People Wear Them

Weekend rides. Motorcycle meetups. Club nights, Pride celebrations, the occasional birthday party. This cut is a familiar sight in the gay leather chaps community. Fit really matters there, so we never cut corners. Team them with a leather waistcoat or harness, or throw your motorcycle leather jacket over the top.

Something important before you purchase. There's no CE-rated armour in these. Armour is certified padding positioned over your hips and knees in specialist riding kit. It's there to protect you in an accident. Planning long motorway trips or a track day? Buy armoured motorcycle trousers for that, and keep these for everything else.

Colours, Sizes and Getting the Fit Right

Five colours are available: black, brown, tan, white and green. Black is the reliable favourite. Tan and brown have a worn-in, vintage feel. White and green are for occasions when you want people to look twice.

We stock XS through to 7XL, in UK sizes, with waists measured in inches. To measure, wrap a soft tape round your natural waist, just above the hip bones. Then do your inside leg, from the crotch seam to the ankle bone.

Real leather should feel snug on the first day. It relaxes eventually. If you're between two sizes, pick the bigger one. Or skip the size chart altogether. Click Custom Order, send us your waist and inside leg, and we'll cut the pair to those numbers. Women can do this too, for motorcycle leather trousers that properly fit their hips.

Delivery, Returns and Packaging

Nothing sits around in a warehouse. We make your pair once the order comes in, and making plus shipping takes 7 to 12 working days. Delivery is tracked and free. We've already paid the customs duties, so the courier won't knock asking for extra money.

The packaging is completely plain. No logo, no hints about what's inside. Standard sizes can be returned within 30 days. Custom-made pairs are cut for one person only, so read our returns policy before you order one.

Caring for Leather Trousers

Maintenance is easy. A damp cloth after wearing takes off road dust and dirt. Got caught in a downpour? Let them dry slowly at room temperature, never on a radiator. Twice a year, rub in a leather conditioner so the hide stays soft and doesn't crack. Between wears, hang them on a wide hanger in a cool wardrobe.

Order Your Leather Biker Trousers

Decent leather trousers should outlast most of the denim in your wardrobe. We built this pair with that in mind. Pick a colour and size, or send your measurements for a custom cut. Put the biker trousers in your basket, and we'll get to work on them.
