Key Features

Every piece is full-grain cowhide. Full-grain keeps the outer surface of the hide, so the leather is thick, holds its shape and darkens slowly with use.

Seams are double-stitched by hand and the stress points are riveted. The buckles, rivets and D-rings are solid metal with a polished silver finish. Each buckle strap has a lock loop, so you can add a small padlock. Clips and padlocks are not included.

The outside is black leather and the inside is padded and lined in red, with rolled red edges where each cuff meets the skin. The padding spreads the pressure when a cuff takes a pull, so it stays comfortable for longer.

How to Use

Fasten each cuff with its buckle, then check the fit before you connect anything. You should be able to slide two fingers flat between the strap and the skin. If you cannot, loosen it one hole.

Once fitted, the D-rings let you clip wrist to wrist, wrist to thigh, or ankle to ankle. Use clips that open quickly with one hand.

Keep these rules every time:

• Agree on a safe word or signal before you start.
• Keep safety shears within reach. They cut a strap in seconds if a buckle jams.
• Check hands and feet every few minutes. Cold skin, tingling, numbness or a blue or white colour mean loosen at once.
• Never leave a restrained person alone.
• Never tie the collar to a fixed point or put weight on the neck.

Sizing and Fit

Measure each part with a soft tape where the cuff will sit, then pick the size whose range includes your number. If you sit between two sizes, choose the larger one; the buckle takes up the slack.

Measurements are body circumference where the cuff sits: wrist over the wrist bone, ankle just above the ankle bone, thigh at the widest point, neck at the base. Full-grain leather is stiff on day one and softens over the first few wears, but it does not stretch much in length. Outside these ranges? Use Custom Order and send your four measurements.

Care and Cleaning

Wipe each piece with a soft, slightly damp cloth after use and let it air-dry away from radiators and direct sun. Do not soak the leather or put it in a washing machine.

Condition the leather twice a year with a leather conditioner. This stops the hide drying out and keeps the stitch lines from cracking. Store the set in a dry, breathable bag, not sealed plastic.

If a cuff gets wet, pat it dry with a towel and let it dry fully at room temperature before you condition it.
