Bondage Ankle & Wrist Suspension Cuffs

Suspension cuffs are wide, padded restraints built to take weight at the wrists or ankles. They spread pull across a large area of skin, so they can be used for tie-downs, hogties and partial suspension where thin cuffs would dig in.

This set gives you two wrist cuffs and two ankle cuffs, hand-cut from full-grain cowhide and double-stitched. Each pair is joined by a riveted leather panel with a strong D-ring at the centre, ready to clip to a rope, chain or spreader bar.

Every set is made to order in your size and sent in plain packaging, with free tracked delivery and duties paid.

Why These Leather Suspension Cuffs

  • Full-grain cowhide. Thick, heavy duty leather that holds its shape under load and softens with wear.

  • Wide padded cuff. A cushioned inner layer spreads pressure across the wrist and ankle.

  • Two buckles per cuff. Double roller buckles stop the cuff twisting or slipping when pulled.

  • Riveted joining panel. Each pair is linked by a studded leather panel, so the load runs through leather and rivets, not a single strap.

  • Solid metal D-rings. A D-ring on every cuff, plus one at the centre of each pair.

  • Double-stitched seams. Every seam is sewn twice to stop splitting.

  • Five sizes. S, M, L, XL and XXL, or send your measurements for a custom fit.

Padded for Comfort Under Load

Thin cuffs press on a narrow band of skin and can pinch nerves in the wrist. A wide, padded suspension cuff spreads the same pull over a larger area.

The padding also stops the leather edge rubbing when the wearer moves. That matters most in hogties and partial suspension, where the cuffs carry weight for several minutes.

How to Fit Suspension Cuffs

  1. Open both buckles and place the cuff with the padding against the skin.

  2. Close the lower buckle first, then the upper one.

  3. Check that one finger slides under the cuff. Too loose and it slips; too tight and it cuts off blood flow.

  4. Line up the D-ring on the outside of the wrist or ankle, away from the tendons.

  5. Clip your rope, chain or carabiner to the centre D-ring of the pair.

Suspension Safety

Suspension puts real strain on joints and nerves. Learn from an experienced rigger before you lift anyone, and always have a spotter.

Use a rated hardpoint or a suspension frame. Never hang from a door frame, curtain rail or light fitting.

Start with partial suspension: keep the feet or body supported and only lift part of the weight. Keep sessions short.

Keep safety shears in reach. Watch for numbness, tingling, cold hands or feet, or colour change, and lower the wearer at once if any appear.

Check the stitching, rivets and D-rings before every use. Retire any cuff with a split seam or loose rivet.

Care

Wipe the leather after each use and let it dry naturally. Condition it twice a year to keep it supple. Store flat, away from heat and damp.
